Washington, DC--Congressman Jack Bergman, MI-1, Chairman of the Guardian Fund, and the…
We need your help to elect more Conservative veterans and minorities to Congress.
What our country desperately needs is a higher caliber of leadership, people who have an undeterred commitment to serve and fight for the principles that have made us prosperous as well as those who bring a diverse and important perspective to our conservative causes. The Guardian Fund has made it their mission to cultivate this higher brand of leadership for public office, recruiting individuals who have already proven their selfless dedication to our country. That’s why I’m proud to be a part of that mission and to drive the search for people who bring diversity to our party in addition to the unique perspectives of a Veteran.
Chairman Rep. Jack Bergman, MI-1
(USMC LTGen. Ret.)
Since its inception in 2011 and first political campaigns of 2012, the Guardian Fund has supported over 260 candidates in campaigns for the US House and Senate. With over 180 victories in both houses, The Guardian Fund has an overall success rate of more than 70%. Over the last 10 years it has become the preeminent minority and military constitutional conservative political action committee. This was my goal, my hope, and my vision to raise new generation of Guardians of the American Republic.
Founder LTC Allen B. West
(US Army Ret.)
As the first Latina and Republican woman elected to Congress from Oregon, Guardian Fund played a critical role in supporting my campaign. I was honored to earn their support and it’s great to have an organization that will continue to highlight minority candidates in Congress.
Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer, OR-5
The United States deserves to be led by individuals who not only understand our military but by those who have sworn an oath to be a part it. We at the Guardian Fund believe that veterans of the U.S. military embody a kind of dedication to this country that is second to none and possess an unmatched loyalty to preserving and protecting the United States and its conservative American values.
Forty years ago, 70% of lawmakers in the House of Representatives and 78% of those in the Senate had served in the armed forces. The number of veterans serving on Capitol Hill has been imperceptibly declining since the early 1970s, largely a result of the World War II generation steadily leaving public office.
