PALM BEACH, FL, March 25, 2014 – Donald Trump, Greg Gutfeld and Allen West delivered rousing remarks to the over-capacity crowd at the closing reception for The Allen West Guardian Fund’s First Annual Boot Camp held at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach.
The closing reception drew a crowd of 300 attendees and raised over $100,000 for the Allen West Guardian Fund to help elect conservative minority and veteran candidates in the 2014 election cycle.
Donald Trump recounted the story of being approached to host the event, which was originally expected to draw 50 to 100 attendees. As the enthusiasm grew, Trump described how the event needed to be moved into the grand ballroom, a testament to the strong support of Allen West and the Fund’s mission.
Author Greg Gutfeld had the crowd in hysterics with his blisteringly funny comments on the “hipster elite” from his newest book Not Cool and how the desire to be “cool” is in danger of destroying everything our nation holds dear.
In closing, former Congressman Allen West likened the crowd of 300 attendees to the 300 Spartans, who must take the brave stand to defend the principles of our Constitutional Republic
The reception capped an afternoon of boardroom discussions with attendees and conservative trailblazers including Gutfeld, GOP candidate Dan Bongino (MD-6), Louisiana State Senator Elbert Guillory, and Florida State Representative Mike Hill. Click here to see the photo gallery.
