SITUATION REPORT
December 10th, 2014
Thanks to your continued support of the Guardian Fund, conservative candidates have continued to be victorious. Over this past weekend, run-off elections in Louisiana resulted in two more wins for the Republican Party and brought our Guardian Fund ‘victory list’ to 21 new veterans and minority candidates taking office in January.
Congressman Bill Cassidy carried 56% of the vote defeating Senator Mary Landrieu for the United States Senate, making his the ninth seat turned Republican in the Senate. This solid victory shows the power of the conservative message in the South. In an even larger landslide victory, veteran and doctor, Ralph Abraham won Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District with 64% of the vote to his Democrat opponent’s 35%.
These run-off elections in Louisiana only further confirm that November 4th was not an anomaly, an accident, luck, or any variation thereof. The Republican Party’s takeover of Congress was a clear and deliberate choice made by the American people to put conservatives in charge.
Now is not the time to rest. We must take this momentum into 2015 and secure a better future for this country. With your continued help I know this is possible.
Steadfast and Loyal,
Allen West
Lt. Col. Allen B. West, USA (ret)

Still to be Decided
Martha McSally
(AZ-2)
RECOUNT UPDATE: It has been reported that Martha McSally will be the Congresswoman-elect in Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District even after the 133-ballot-recount results come in later this month. Arizona’s Secretary of State, Ken Bennett, who opposed Barber’s recount efforts said, ‘I expect the totals could change a little bit, but I don’t think it will change the outcome.’ The last two counties in AZ-2 will report their recount results to an Arizona judge around December 16th or 17th, with an official winner announced shortly after!
Crucial 2014 Year End Donation!
There is still time to make your year-end donation to The Guardian Fund. Veteran Martha McSally in Arizona’s 2nd Congressional district is the last woman standing-we are hoping that her race will be decided this month. Martha is crucial to the wave of veterans coming to Washington in January. The Guardian Fund has contributed to her recount fund which assists the important effort of making sure all the votes are counted! We hope you will continue to be a part of our team. Could you make a final contribution of $20.14 or $200.14 as your year-end gift of support to the Guardian Fund?
