Jack Bergman rose through the ranks of the Marine Corps to eventually retire as a three-star general. During his time in the Marine Corps, he served as commanding general of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, we well as a naval aviator. Following retirement, Jack Bergman worked as a pilot for Northwest Airlines and his own business in the medical equipment field.
