Jack Bergman is a retired United States Marine Corps lieutenant general and is the highest-ranking military officer elected to Congress. He served as commanding general of the Marine Forces Reserve and the Marine Forces North. He also served as a Naval Aviator, flying rotary-winged aircraft.
