Jen Kiggans is a State Senator, geriatric nurse practitioner, U.S. Navy veteran, mother, Navy wife, and Republican candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 2nd District. Before beginning her service in the U.S. Navy in 1995, Jen earned a degree in International Relations from Boston University and taught English in public high schools in Matsuyama, Japan. Jen then served for ten years in the U.S. Navy, completing two deployments to the Persian Gulf as an H-46 and H-3 helicopter pilot. Using her GI bill, Jen returned to school after the Navy to become a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
