Joe Schneider served as a Captain in the United States Army and retired after 13 years of fighting the spread of communism during the Cold War. Weeks after becoming an American citizen, he was accepted into the United States Military Academy – West Point, and subsequently served as a Ranger qualified officer and in Special Forces (Green Berets) units.
