Kathy is the first in her family to complete college. She spent ten years in the Armed Forces Reserves, and was accepted into Officer Candidate School. Following the Army, Kathy worked in the financial industry, corporate America, and as an adjunct professor of Corporate Finance. She is a regular featured guest on Fox News and the author of the book Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain: Being Black and Conservative in America.
